Terms of Service
Last updated November 3, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Novacon LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("we"), which operates Constrictor at constrictor.dev. By using Constrictor you accept them. If you don't accept them, don't use it.
What Constrictor is
Constrictor is an online Python practice course. Your code runs in your own browser. Constrictor is not affiliated with or endorsed by CodeSignal, and our lessons, problems and mock tests are our own.
We offer practice only. We don't promise any score, job, interview or other result.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you. You need an account for some features. Keep your login secure and don't share your account; you are responsible for activity on it.
Free and paid access
Some lessons and one mock test are free, with no account needed. The rest requires paid access:
- Monthly and annual plans renew automatically at the price then in effect, until you cancel.
- Lifetime access is a one-time payment with no renewals. It lasts for as long as we operate Constrictor, not for any fixed period.
The price is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe and appear on your statement as Novacon LLC or NOVACON. You may be responsible for applicable taxes. We may change prices for future purchases and renewals, and we'll give subscribers notice before a higher renewal price applies.
Cancelling
You can cancel a subscription at any time under Account, then Manage billing, or by emailing support@constrictor.dev. Cancelling stops future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of a charge. See our refund policy. A refund ends the access that payment bought.
Acceptable use
Don't:
- use Constrictor during a real assessment or to break the rules of any test
- copy, resell or republish our lessons, problems, tests or solutions, or scrape them in bulk
- share paid access or get around the paywall
- attack, overload or interfere with the service, or try to reach other people's data
- use it to break the law
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close an account for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we'll refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.
Our content and yours
We own Constrictor and its lessons, problems and software. We give you a personal, non-transferable license to use them for your own learning. You own the code you write. You let us store and process it only to run the service for you, such as saving your drafts and syncing your progress.
Availability and changes
We may change, add or remove lessons and features. The service runs on third-party systems and may sometimes be unavailable. If we ever shut Constrictor down, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.
Disclaimers
Constrictor is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, opportunities or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50.
Governing law
Florida law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. This doesn't remove any consumer rights you have where you live that can't be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date, and tell account holders by email or in the app about material changes. Continuing to use Constrictor after a change takes effect means you accept it.
